As the President of your UUP Chapter, I want to welcome you to Stony Brook and to the family of United University Professions. We at UUP hope you find your association with us both personally satisfying and professionally productive.

UUP is the largest public higher education union and the leading advocate for public higher education in New York State and in the nation.

UUP is the only organization on campus that truly belongs to you. Only UUP members vote on the contract and participate in the governance of the union. Your membership ensures that you have a voice in molding UUP into the organization you want it to be.
