BENEFITS

UUP has successsfully negotiated an exceptional employee benefits package, including health insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental and vision benefits, disability insurance, sabbaticals and special study leaves, and grant funds for research, travel, and professional presentations. Health Insurance - Medical insurance and prescription drug benefits are defined in Article 39 of the current contract.

Empire Plan (NYSHIP)- Includes participating provider directory search.

Emergency Travel Assistance - Access to emergency travel assistance for UUP bargaining unit members and their families, offered through the UUP Unum Provident life insurance benefit. To request an Assist America card, contact the chapter office . For further detail about the program, click here to go to the Unum Provident Travel Assistance website.

Leaves - Vacation, sick leave, sabbatical leave, and other leaves are defined in Article 23 of the Contract.
